Delete your Discoverly account
There is no self-service deletion button yet: account deletion requests go through privacy@discoverly.gr. Here is exactly what happens, what we delete and what we have to keep.

From the email address of your Discoverly account, with the subject "Account deletion request". Signed in? Use the button below instead, it fills this in for you.
- We process your request
We confirm the request and delete, or irreversibly anonymise, your account and profile data within 30 days.
- You get confirmation
We send you a confirmation email once it's done.
Delete only part of your data
Want to keep your account but remove something specific, like your profile photo, a review or a saved venue? Email us the same way and tell us what to remove.
What we delete
Within 30 days of your request we delete, or irreversibly anonymise:
- Your account and profile data, including your name, email and preferences
- Your profile photo
- Your saved venues
- Your reviews (public reviews may remain visible in an anonymised form)
- Your social login connection
- Your claims and redemption history
What we keep, and for how long
Some records survive your account, either because the law requires it or because they document a relationship with us:
- Membership, seat and accounting records, kept for as long as needed for accounting and legal claims
- If you manage a partner or organizer company, your company data and verification records, kept for the duration of the relationship and 5 years afterwards
- Terms acceptance records, kept for the duration of the relationship and 5 years afterwards, as evidence of the agreement
- Legal compliance and accounting records, as required by law, typically 5 to 10 years under Greek tax and commercial legislation
- Encrypted database backups: nightly backups for 30 days, monthly backups for 400 days. Your deleted data can persist in a backup until it expires on its normal rotation
